I was born and raised in Oxnard at the Saint John's hospital. For the first six years of my life I lived with my family in Nyeland Acres in a one room apartment. After our family reached five we moved out into a house in a neighborhood on the westside of Oxnard. The next couple years were good because i continued to go to the same school district so I would not lose any friends. As I got older I realized that friends are not always needed to get a education so going to my junior year of high school I switched from Rio Mesa to Oxnard High. The transition was a tough one but I was able to make it and graduated from Oxnard High.
Right now in my life I work for a company called Southland Sod Farm. In my job I am asked to do a little bit of everything and what I mean by that is I plant the grass, take care of it, cut it up and put it on pallets for shipping. I mean sure I work on a ranch and its alot of labor work but I really do enjoy working there. I have been going to Ventura College and Oxnard College for 3 years and after these two semester I can apply to transfer.
My plan is to transfer to Humboldt State University and major in psychology and I have plans of also going to history as a back up plan. Some of my other future plans include getting in shape and travel the world and see all its wonders. Even if none of my plans work I will always have backup plans and places to go if at first I don't succeed.
